Rojo’s mojo is so-so
Published April 21st, 2005 in Social Software, FeedmarkerThanks to a forum member for pointing out Rojo’s erroneous claim: they think they’re the only ones with tags and sharing. Word of advice, if you’re going to claim a feature as unique in bold red letters, at least do a cursory search to find out if what you’re claiming is true.
It’s not hard to find out that Feedmarker has had tagging since its inception, Feedtagger is, well, a feed tagger, Blogbridge allows tagging, and I’m sure I’m missing some others. Claiming that your software is the only one of its kind seems to me like a dangerous trap.
I think Rojo would be better off talking about why they think their implementation of tagging for feeds is better than others. Just asserting that you’re unique doesn’t make it so.
