New feature: OPML
Published June 9th, 2005 in FeedmarkerFeedmarker now has OPML export. It’s still in trial mode, so I’m not linking to it on the site, but I thought I’d let people know for those of you who want to try it out.
If I wanted an OPML file of my own sources, I’d just go to http://www.feedmarker.com/feed/opml/user/bruno . To show more sources add do something like http://www.feedmarker.com/feed/opml/user/bruno?show=100 .
If I wanted just my RSS/ATOM subscriptions, I’d go to http://www.feedmarker.com/feed/opml/user/bruno/feeds .
And of course you can filter by any combination you can use in Feedmarker, so if you just want the latest sources for the tag ‘ajax’ just do http://www.feedmarker.com/feed/opml/tag/ajax .
And so on…
The reason I’m still calling this experimental is that right now the OPML feed won’t include any tag information. I’m still trying to figure out the right way to turn tags (multi-faceted) into folders (OPML is hierarchical).
In other news, the MySQL transition was not without problems (heh), but everything’s back in order now. Better yet, the site seems to be responding very quickly. Let me know if you experience any trouble.

For the moment, there is some problems with OPML import.
Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home2/bborn/public_html/feedmarker/include/magpierss/rss_parse.inc on line 345
