Katrina Images mapped on Feedmarker

After seeing an amazing collection of photos taken by Alvaro R. Morales Villa in the days before and after Katrina hit New Orleans, I was left feeling a little disoriented. Where exactly is Bourbon Street? How close is Jackson Square to the SuperDome?

Well, Feedmarker to the rescue: I’ve mapped some of the more interesting photos on a Google map and saved in on Feedmarker.

Now you can see the photos while getting an idea of where exactly (or in some cases, approximately) those images correspond on a map of the city. I think it’s a pretty neat way to put the shocking Katrina images in their geographical context.
